As Valentine’s Day approaches, parents often wonder about appropriate and fun ways to celebrate the holiday with their children. MATERIALS:
- Tape
- Glue stick
- 2 pieces of string
- 2 mini peanut butter bups
- 1 box conversation hearts candy
- Aluminum foil
- Pink construction paper
- Printable scroll wheel and playlist (from DisneyFamily.com Web Site)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1)Â Â Â Tape each end of a piece of string to a peanut butter cup. Tie on the other piece of string as shown, then tape the loose end to the candy box.
2)Â Â Â Wrap each peanut butter cup in a circle of aluminum foil.
3)Â Â Â Wrap the pink paper around the candy box and glue with glue stick.
4)Â Â Â Cut paper shapes and write text for the scroll wheel and playlist, or print one from the Web site.
